New Line Home Entertainment have announced the US Region A Blu-ray Disc release of Semi-Pro on 3rd June 2008. Will Ferrell stars in Semi-Pro, an outrageous comedy set in 1976 against the backdrop of the maverick ABA - a fast-paced, wild and crazy basketball league that rivaled the NBA and made a name for itself with innovations like the three-point shot and slam dunk contest. Ferrell plays Jackie Moon, a one-hit wonder who used the profits from the success of his chart-topping song "Love Me Sexy" to achieve his dream of owning a basketball team. But Moon's franchise, the Flint Michigan Tropics, is the worst team in the league and in danger of folding when the ABA announces its plans to merge with the NBA.
If they want to survive, Jackie and the Tropics must now do the seemingly impossible - win.

How does this man keep making films? Does anybody at the studios actually watch them? He is about as funny as being run over slowly by a steam roller, feet-first...whilst Fire Ants attack you face.
------
You catch a shark, cut off its fins and tail, throw it back into the water ALIVE, but now unable to swim - so it slowly drowns - only to dry then boil those fins down to make a tasteless watery broth that costs the earth and is nothing more than a status symbol.
Ignorance personified.

He was good in - Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Can't say, I enjoyed, so far, the rest of his movies or work!

I do not care for him either but like Adam Sandler the Americans love him. I don't care for Adam Sandler either bar The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates but that's my thing for Drew Barrymore coming into play rather than my like for Sandler.
Ben Stiller yes I can see why people like him and his father is amazing in Seinfeld.
Still some people will be excited by this BD, I doubt many people would be excited about the stuff I like such as a Return of the Killer Tomatoes SE :)

The Killer Tomatoes films are great they really make me laugh. The second one where they run out of money and start hawking products(in the storyline incase anyone is wondering what I mean) is priceless.
