Fox Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Pretender Season 2 for 20th September 2005 priced at $39.98 SRP. Season two of four makes its way to DVD...

Presented over four double-sided discs features include:
  • 1.78:1 Anamorphic Widescreen
  • English, French and Spanish Dolby Surround
  • English and Spanish subtitles
  • 3 Part Making of Featurette
  • Commentary by: Craig W. Van Sickle, Steve Long Mitchell, and Fred K. Keller on episode "Red Rock Jarod"
  • Commentary by: Craig W. Van Sickle, Steve Long Mitchell, Fred K. Keller, Andrea Parker, and Michael Weiss on episodes "Bloodlines 1 & 2"

Ok, that would be not good. But why would they release the first season in full screen just to crop the second? Well, if it *is* cropped then there's no way in hell I'd buy it :mad:

If it's meant to be 1.33:1 then I'd regard the listing as a mistake on Fox's part. They're always doing it when they announce TV Shows.

Season 2 ran from 97-98. By that time, many other Fox shows were filmed in Widescreen. I'm gonna bet that it's not a mistake.
